Do vs Create

Photo by Glenn Carstens-Peters on Unsplash

I have a million things I have to do. Some of which include, setting up wifi, unpacking, shipping books that I’ve rented, going to work, applying for new jobs, calling the ones I’ve already applied for, getting groceries, FIXING MY CAR, getting an oil change, finding furniture for my house, crying, etc.

I do not get it. All I want is to bask in the sun with friends and chat about how we all will inevitably die.

Is that too much to ask for?

I also want to hike, swim, draw, write, create, travel, talk, breathe, eat, love, dance, read, walk, run, fly, and more.

Art is something that I find great release in. I crave to create. But to purely express emotion and thought, well that is something I struggle with, especially when caught up in the busyness of life.

I do not have much else to say in this post. It was good to speak. Tomorrow I must return my books and fix my car. These are the most important. Remind me to do them (not like that would actually work).

Anyway, good day to you!
